About
Ané Wilder
The voice that carries your stories.
Mature country, country-pop and Americana — written for the parts of a life that don't usually get a song.

Songs born from real life.
This catalogue is about heartbreak, grief, loss, betrayal, difficult relationships, ageing, boundaries and starting again — and equally about laughter, confidence, flirtation and freedom, because a woman is not only one of those things.
Some of it is hard. Some of it is funny. It is written for women who are old enough to know the difference, and who have stopped apologising for wanting both.
You won't find motivational slogans here, and you won't be told that everything happens for a reason.

What this is for
Real stories
Written from the parts of a life that don't usually make it into conversation — heartbreak, grief, boundaries, the things women carry and don't say out loud.
For every chapter
The catalogue holds both the deep songs and the lively ones. Sorrow is not the whole of anyone, and a website that treats it that way isn't telling the truth.
You are not alone
The Porch exists so that nobody has to read this in a completely silent house. Come and sit down.
Creation & transparency
How this is made
Ané Wilder is a human-directed, AI-supported artist project.
The creative direction, the emotional world, the boundaries and every approval on this site come from a person — Anneke du Plessis, who manages the project. She decides what the songs are about, what stays and what changes, and what this artist will never claim.
The production is supported by AI tools, used openly, for lyric and copy drafting, artwork and the building of pages like this one. That support is a tool. It is not the voice, and it is not in charge.
What this project will not do is invent a life. There is no touring history here, no chart position, no awards shelf, no press quotes and no listener testimonials — not because they were left out, but because they would be fiction. Where something is a work in progress, the site says so.
